Q Rodgey: The Gratitude Edition—Tammy Schaefer & the Sparks That Help Us Begin

This Grateful Edition feels especially close to my heart.

During one of our VA Q&A sessions, my friend and fellow VA, Tammy Schaefer, shared how she had been using the FlyLady approach to bring more structure and calm into her life and home. She also mentioned that she had created a custom ChatGPT using FlyLady-inspired techniques to help her stay aligned and decluttered.

As she was talking, something just clicked for me.

It was not about perfection.
It was not about doing everything at once.
It was about taking small, intentional steps that bring order to what often feels overwhelming.

That moment planted a seed.

After the session, Tammy and I met over Zoom so she could walk me through what she had created and how she was using it. During that conversation, everything began to connect. What she shared aligned so beautifully with my word of the year and the season I am in right now. It felt like a gentle, practical way to address the CHAOS that can build up in business, life, and home.

Tammy helped me create my own custom ChatGPT, one that I am now using to help align and declutter not only my business but also my life and my home as well. The techniques we built into it are inspired by the FlyLady philosophy, and they have already begun shifting how I approach my days.

As I started reading the FlyLady books, I found them full of practical wisdom and encouragement. Simple reminders. Gentle structure. Permission to start where you are. It reinforced something I deeply believe. Chaos does not mean failure. It simply means we need systems that support us.

This Grateful Edition is a heartfelt thank you.

Thank you, Tammy, for lighting a spark in me. Thank you for sharing what has worked for you and for taking the time to pour into me and help me see a clearer path forward. Thank you for helping me find a way to deal with the CHAOS around me with grace and intention.

I am endlessly grateful for my VA friends. The ones who share openly. The ones who listen. The ones who help each other grow, not just in business, but in life. Having a community like that is something I will never take for granted.

Tonight, I am grateful for clarity, for small steps, and for the reminder that alignment often begins with a single shared idea.
